[ well he isn't afraid of leona, that's for certain -- but it startles him in a good way, and there's not much thought in that pretty head of his as he returns the kiss less shy, less tentative than when he'd started, wanting to keep up with the actual beast(man) between them,

and if leona would be content with a housecat's claws, small but no less dangerous than their predecessors, then kaname can flex them given time, given challenge. it'd been a surprise to feel tongue, but he doesn't mind the wet warmth against his lips; he's eager to see what he can learn from the other too. it's a world he isn't allowed, a taboo that would cost him everything back home for more than one reason, and given the lack of danger he's really in of that here?

kaname's damned already, eve in the garden of eden, if tongue is in his future he's more than welcoming to the idea, though he wants it on his terms as he nips at leona's lips and follows it with a swipe of his own: an unspoken command, his eyes just barely open to see it through this time. ]

[ they're both damned. he's the serpent, ready to bestow upon kaname the simple act of forbidden knowledge. pleasure, if he wishes. smash the locks on the gate, and let him be free. what he yearns for, what he desires... leona will do his best to give it to him. why? because he's selfish and vengeful and like a good king, he is also magnanimous.

the nip makes him purr, a heavy and low noise in his chest. a rumble of a sigh, a gentle grumble. of course he'll part his lips for that but his tongue is not timid nor a stranger to the feeling of another against it. in fact, he finds it pleasant. ear burning, nerve tingling excitement... different. very different.

he's not going to suffocate him with his presence. it's tempting. perhaps... if he felt like he wasn't trying to walk on eggshells? he still might approach this all with a gentle touch. after all, it's not just kaname's heart he's worried about. it's his own, too. ]

[ the fact he purrs makes kaname laugh in their kissing, actually -- he hadn't expected it, but it's a wonderful reaction and a nice sound, nice feeling, he brings his hands down to press against leona's chest to catch it again.

-- actually, the skin against skin is nice too, kaname's soft hands still new to the callouses that'd form with his various hobbies, thumb rubbing circles against the sliver offered by his leather vest with a pleased hum.

kissing is nice. it's really nice. he wonders if it's just nice with leona, or if it's nice with other people too -- if he asked hiiro, would that boy follow in his brother's footsteps or would he break his own path. if he could press his courage and ask it of tatsumi, who's kind nature was as likely to reject him as it was accept. only one of those would be vaguely more acceptable than the other though, and neither of them are the person he's sitting in the lap of.

... but leona doesn't deserve that. kaname's a terrible person. but the way he decides to atone for the thoughts the beastman won't ever be privvy to is reaching one hand behind him to grasp leona's at the small of his back, dragging it and his shirt up partially. off, maybe. or under. one of the two. ]

[ kissing is very nice, indeed. hopefully it won't be the last time he kisses kaname. another person whose lips feel pleasant against his own. if he ever has the opportunity to compare them against someone who might have similar ones... how surprised would he be? hm. hm hm.

but that's a fleeting thought, if one at all. leona's more focused on the now. on the boy he's slowly peeling the shirt off of. careful to not rip or tear anything--- again, he doesn't want to provide any kind of evidence that isn't one he can be proud of. who would puff their chest out at that? not leona. no, he wants to own everything else.

this is how he'll protect kaname: scent him with nuzzles and kisses. this is clearly the way.

and what better way to start than break that kiss, lick kaname's lips, then move his face down toward his throat? he noses at his chin, making the other lift it, so that he can press his lips against the skin there and... suck. gently. make the skin rosy. ]

[ kaname's confused until he isn't, breath stuttering the way his heart does and he cranes his neck to better let leona at it, nails digging into what skin they're against. nevermind kissing, this "and other stuff" is good too -- if this is what amagi hadn't wanted to explain, then kaname understands why. every new sensation is quickly becoming something he enjoys more than the last, so is it any surprise that he reacts just as eagerly to this one?

good thing the other's doing as asked too, because the cooler air of the apartment is a pleasant relief with how warm he's getting -- goosebumps and all, a shiver not entirely the fault of his partner in crime running through his body. the shirt's easy to come up and off, more skin than he's shown anyone save his family, and kaname doesn't know to be shameful about the reactions he gives: the quickened breathes, the thrum of his pulse against leona's lips, how he isn't sure what to do with his hands and ends up resting his now bared arms atop the other's shoulders.

no, it's really good to be in this position, because kaname doesn't need this ruined by the mistakes faintly lining his left wrist. ]

Mm-- More, Kingscholar.

[ a small command, despite the breathy nature it has. kaname is a willing student, he'll certainly return the lessons taught sometime. ]

[ more? more it is... because he's in the presence of someone and something precious, and even if somehow he went a little overboard... he has magic. he can relieve those aches and pains, dull or sharp, and bring him that warmth that only he can provide. sure, there might be a few new healers here, but do any of them carry the same kind of weight that leona does? muscle, cute ears, a nice tail...

it won't do just letting kaname be topless. leona will join him, show off his build--- demonstrate the natural physique of a royal blooded beastman. but he's not going to pull his face away, not when he wants to nibble on kaname, flats of his teeth scraping against skin.

not a hard chomp. nothing terribly rude, not yet. ]

You askin' to be marked? You sure you'd be okay with that?

[ nothing permanent, obviously. he's not in the business of scarring someone who doesn't deserve it. ]

[ kaname's legs squeeze against leona's sides at the teeth scraping against his skin, the warmth breath on top of it, and he

didn't really consider that actually, because it just doesn't come up in his thoughts until it's put there, and he can't even imagine what he'd look like with marks. bruises weren't a daily occurrence for him but. it wouldn't be because leona wants to hurt him, unlike the eyes that burn at the edge of his mind. ]

... Don't you want to?

[ is what he trades back, hands sliding over leona's shoulder and back. he's never touched someone like this either, so it's slow and deliberate as if he might never again. kaname may not know the other's lineage still, and it wouldn't change anything anyway, but he likes what's beneath him. it's a learning process. ]

So long as they don't show, [ so long as his brother won't see, ] then do what you want. [ nails, now, a little hard in their dragging. ] Don't be so gentle with me. I wouldn't be asking for more if I didn't want what you can give me.

[ treat him like anyone else, stubbornly so. he won't fool himself into thinking this is leona's rodeo, so if he marks others then let him be marked. if he bites them, then bite. kaname wants to be his equal, too.

even if he doesn't really get what all of it includes, he wants to be able to refuse it than to have it refused for him. ]

Of course I do.

[ another exhale, another inhale. breathing in kaname's scent through flared nostrils. uncertainty but not fear. excitement but not ecstasy. nails that dig into his own skin and make him arch his back. puff out his chest, but not so much that he pushes kaname back. his face is practically anchored to that spot... skin becoming more and more flushed as he tends to it. his ministrations will certainly leave a bruise, but not to the extent of broken skin and force. ]

But a place that someone's eyes won't go directly to? I can think of a few spots.

[ he's going to have to move for that, though. where his mind goes means a change of position, from couch to bed, and that feels like a good idea. with kaname's legs already in place, it takes no effort to slowly stand up and carry him over. ]

[ still careful and still mindful, he lies kaname out--- and leona soon follows after, staying on top of him. not smothering, not going full loaf. as loathe as he is to leave that spot by his throat where he could feel the beating of kaname's heart, he has a new place to go. sensitive nubs, ready for the flicking and teasing, tongue dragging over each one. ]

[ of course i do is a match set to light against his desire and the way leona strikes it (refusing to part from his neck for a second, the words against his swelling, darkening skin) turns the follow-up into fuel that flares the wildfire consuming his body and kaname digs in harder when he's lifted so easily, squeezing tight as if leona'd ever let him drop-- ]

[ -- but when he does it's carefully against comfortable bedding that smells dizzingly like the beastman above him and kaname wishes he could hide his face again, because the fact he can't feel how hot it is anymore is a testament to the way the crimson flush reaches further down his once fair skin. maybe he's bitten off more than he can chew, but it's the sort of delicious dessert he'll let melt in his mouth until he can swallow it versus simply spitting it out, versus choking it down.

leona's mane brushing over him is already becoming something he's far-too aware of, strands of electricity with each touch, but the wet heat that's soon introduced to his chest ensure the other'll have marks of his own, ones that'll fade but not today as kaname arches up into it with a sharp inhale, nails dragging hard lines over tanned shoulders. ]

Ki-- Kin-- [ what a spiny mouthful, when he has a name that rolls off far richer, pleasure in every syllable: ] Leona.

[ more, more, more -- ]

[ does it tickle when leona's braids brush over his shoulders and down by his sides? when his bangs touch the spots above where his mouth is anchored, where he sucks just hard to apply a firm and unrelentless pressure? his hands move down to cup kaname's ass, squeezing and kneading, working to 'assault' him from multiple angles. maybe he's just imagining it, but there's something so sweet... it's delicious. he wants more of it and he'll take it.

but first...

leona licks over his teeth. nothing good comes from dryness, right? as he grazes the tip of the nipple he's been giving the most attention to, he's quick to bite the skin around it. he can feel when the skin gives, but he's not looking to make him bleed heavily--- just leave red angry marks around them. not a perfect circle. something that'll be there for more than just a night or two.

and from there? he dots kisses from the center of kaname's chest and moves lower, to stomach and navel, tongue and lips and teeth leaving a trail. ]

[ it does, it feels good, every bit is overwhelming in a way that terrifies and exhilarates kaname -- he just about bites his tongue off and just clips it instead, blood a sickly sweet taste in his mouth that plays second fiddle to the raw physicality that caused it in the first place.

is his body trembling? it is, just a tremor as leona gives him a reason to look at the mirror in the morning for more than just his hair, and he doesn't know what to do with his hands the further down the other goes so he twists them into the sheets instead, stomach dipping a little as he breathes in and feels warmth pooling lower. should he be ashamed that it's not a lot in the long run, but it's getting him so excited?

it's a lot to him. and it'll continue to be a lot, because unfortunately, kaname isn't in the business of saying "no" once he's started something; he asked, he wanted, his nervousness will simply have to deal with it (in his mind) because it'll smooth out probably. it isn't like leona's mouth is hurting anyway, not the way kaname's foot's going to if the other goes too low and he reflexively kicks his partner. ]

[ it's okay. leona won't be facing any embarrassing sharp (and possibly crippling) pain this time. there will always be time for something that makes him recoil in some way... but he wants to slow roll this. why force kaname to boil over when watching him percolate and simmer and eventually reach a point where he'll have no choice.

one hand anchored to his side, leona begins to work his way back up, though he does stop to give that untouched nub a little attention too. brief, as he tongues over it, using his other hand to tweak the one he recently left his teeth prints around. ]

You're cute as hell. Could eat ya up and everythin'.

[ and this time, this next kiss, finally returning to see kaname's sweet face? he's relentless, greedily sliding his tongue in between those lips. ]

[ it'd be a relief if leona gave him any true reprieve, but it just leaves him feeling far too aware of the other's preferred room temperature even as the beastman makes his way back up, eliciting a sharp gasp at the attention (and re-attention) to his chest, a sweet scowl marring his features. ]

I'm not--

[ not cute, he wants to say, but the words are swallowed as swiftly as his next breath is and he returns the kiss just as eagerly as before -- moreso now with fire running in his veins, arms coming back to hold leona in place and to bring himself up more. leona can taste the same blood he did, and despite his sore tongue kaname is fascinated, enamored, thrilled by this new thing too, tilting his head to deepen it as the other'd done earlier.

while he'll acquiesce to experience and leona's desires, he won't shy away from actually being able to do something right now... and if there's any chase to be had he'll give it enthusiastically, because he won't let the other fret over a little wound of his own making. ]

[ easy to shut him up, and the taste of blood is... surprising. did he accidentally bite his tongue? maybe his lip, or perhaps he chewed his cheek a little too hard? no matter. it's coppery and he loves it. it's not his first time having it directly from another's mouth, but this is... softer. sweeter. maybe kaname's just made of sugar. he looks like it... way more resilient. so maybe like taffy? yeah. not that he's going to be chewing him roughly like he would the sticky stuff, as he drags his tongue over the other's and allows another rumble from his chest to emanate.

pushing kaname's boundaries are also pushing his own. he knows what feels good, but he also knows who he is. there is an internal struggle. his desire to keep kaname safe... maybe it'll ground him. reinforce his mental.

so leona is... slow. even though his heart is racing and everything is telling him to be brash and impulsive, to make this experience a painful lasting memory... he wouldn't be able to forgive himself.

with that in mind, he reaches down. he's deliberate when he palms over that space below where he left his original path, continuing lower, resting the weight of his hand over kaname's crotch. he has to see the reaction before he takes any further. ]

[ the rumble tells him he's doing something right in his learning efforts, which is its own pleasure and reward, and kaname relishes in it, basks proudly, runs his tongue carefully over leona's pronounced canines and shivers at the thought of them sinking in. even at them scraping enough to leave long lines against his skin, be it piercing or not -- he thinks it's attractive in theory.

what he knows he definitely likes, as much as it clearly startles him, is leona's hand against him, because kaname hadn't realized how much he needed or wanted it there until it was, just like how he hadn't known just how much he wanted to be kissed until now.

maybe he knows what it means to feel a little shame now, because the whine he lets slip into their kiss feels embarrassing after the fact; just as is how his body shivers with anticipation of more, drawing back just enough to nip at leona's mouth and his jaw, encouraging in every way. fear has fled and in its place is a new hunger, again and again and again. ]

[ kaname's doing everything right by simply being himself. isn't that amazing? it's making his body ache with something when he feels another tongue that isn't his own touch those broader, sharper teeth. his next breath is the hottest one yet. tension is building from the tip of his tail up to his ears, and it's the kind he's become very familiar with. it pools in his stomach and then sinks lower and that heat is just everywhere in his body.

it's different than what he's had before here. that was lust. a dam bursting.

he gropes. he's insistent now. it's what kaname wants, he knows that. he's not... if it makes him feel good? if it gives him the attention he deserves? then yeah. he's going to encourage it. make parts of him stir that he's never prioritized before.

because leona definitely is. ]

[ not once has someone ever touched him like this. that goes for a great many things today, but it doesn't lessen the fire rolling across his body and searing every muscle in its warpath, doesn't lessen the heady moan of leona's name as the hardness is more apparent with his touches, how his body wants more as it arches against the other.

his clothes feel too many again, when he just wants to feel leona's bare palm someplace new and more exciting than this because it's just barely enough and not enough at the same time. it's giving him the friction he needs but restrains him just so, though if leona persists kaname's breath will get shorter as he edges closer to a release only the other's been able to offer him here.

he'll hate the mess though, it won't be good to go home with, but maybe that'll be a point in keeping him here. kaname can qualify and categorize once his head is clear, but all he can think of right now is how best to get quench the fire lapping at his reddened skin. ]

[ then leona will be proud to be kaname's first in this regard... how lucky is he to have the blessings of a prince? to be coveted by someone with royal blood, even if he doesn't necessarily like having it. though it definitely confers upon him some benefits others simply can't have...

it's easy to get rid of the other's pants and undergarments. he's not really thinking about them as barriers when one hand slips underneath them both and gives them both a sharp tug to get them around his ankles or to the floor. his own are also getting the quick kick aside. he's not going to let kaname be the only one in the nude. besides--- it gives him more to look at when they're not staring into each other's eyes.

in this position, however? he can stroke themselves together. flesh against flesh, a broad hand circling them both, something that won't involve potentially hurting kaname...

he pulls away from the kiss, to lick at the corner of the boy's lips. to nose his nose, bump foreheads again. ]

[ they're definitely barriers to kaname, ones swiftly taken care of and replaced with something-- somethings new, squirming a little before it rings as appreciative in his mind and he lets it be, working the rest of his off and rests back into the bed as the smoother motion continues.

the break of a kiss is more than he knows he needs, the licks and bumps oddly cute in the heated moment, and kaname hums as he closes his eyes, nuzzling leona's cheek and then past it to scrape his teeth against the higher part of his neck, doing what the other'd done to him and sucking lightly as little breathy noises accompany it, in rhythm with the strokes as only someone versed in music can perfect.

maybe it won't be as obvious on leona, not the way it is on kaname, but it's still something that felt good to him and the hair against his face is nice in its own way, the scent comforting as it is intoxicating. he wants to earn those rumbles, the purrs and reactionary actions he can cause. especially the closer he is, teeth harder in his skin as a shudder rips through him.

while he might be the furthest thing from the other's own standing-- the care shown won't be lost on him, since it's the thing that'll make this first time stand out so much in his mind, from beginning to this end, the prologue of their time together to the epilogue yet to be written.

of course he comes first, but he'll insistently gnaw on leona given the chance, even if it's slower and lazier like a cat with its favorite meal. ]

[ kaname's ministrations don't go unrewarded. it even catches him by surprise; who knew this little housecat would be willing to test his teeth on leona's skin? he doesn't just like it. he loves it. why won't more try to go for his throat? the answer is very obvious; he holds a certain kind of intimidation that some can't approach without some level of apprehension.

but kaname doesn't have that and leona loves it.

standing has never been a part of his vocabulary. he despises it. a title, an assumed position. it infuriates him. let one's merit show through their actions, through what they can do rather than what they might do. what he sees in kaname and from his admittance is something he... understands. maybe better than anyone else.

he hopes that he can feel it with every stroke. every squeeze. every pump. his pace is starting to accelerate, fingers dragging against the head and over the ridge, down the shaft...

the arousal is palpable. the air is heavy with their combined efforts. not too hard, but he's becoming rougher and more eager after every jerky movement. ]

[ the more eager leona becomes, the more eager kaname does in response -- he's a reactive person by nature, usually lashing out with claws or with a hissing comment that drives a tense situation into a spat, it's rarely "reactive" in a good way since he'd never had the chance at it growing up without his mother... but he's been easing into it more, or trying to anyway, becoming used to the ways others approach him with no intentions of his downfall (as so many did prior to his coming here, their burning gazes becoming simple memory in the wake of kinder, warmer ones) or speak on equal terms with him as rivals, as people with merits of their own, as equals and... as friends, in some cases.

some may say he's becoming honest with his feelings and reacting appropriately. but kaname's simply becoming used to being loved and cherished in a way he hadn't through the past decade of his life, and though it makes him feel unbalanced and uneasy... he does like it, does yearn for it, keeps his claws out just in case but doesn't use them on the few people he trusts the sincerity of and seeks them out when he wants a token of affection or more. others might get their hand clawed at or kaname would snap away with a biting comment, but for the few on a growing list he'd endure, he'd enjoy, content in trusting them with such a delicate matter.

not that anyone knows this.

in fact, he might be called contradictory because of it -- but no such contradiction lies here right now. leona treats him well and kaname mirrors it. kisses returned with a fever that betrays his desire to want and be wanted. touches he welcomes, trusting the other not to hurt him and being proven right. his body moves without his thoughtful consent, without plans or overthinking, and while it might not be something he only feels with leona it is right now, and it'll be something he marks down as safe and good.

such an upbringing makes it harder for feelings to reach him too of course. but there's an inkling of leona's feelings, steadily dripping in past kaname's less physical barriers, and it's rare to find someone who might understand. still he won't be too open about such a shameful past he bears, but every action and reaction is born from that cruelty nonetheless, and maybe one day the people kaname trusts (the people he loves in his own fumbling way) will learn and understand it, will accept him regardless and pet his head.

it's all too much thought for thoughtless actions, how he's emboldened by leona's touch and reactions to mark harder and more, (this moment is his, if nothing else in this room belongs to him,) how he can't think of anything but the physical sensations centered in one spot but echoing across the rest of his body, his chest hurts with the shortness of air but it doesn't feel bad, it doesn't, he doesn't dislike it, it's exciting and he's eager to keep up and add to it, be it by his actions or the noises that denote his pleasure, short sweet things that only multiply the longer this goes on. he's a chatty housecat in every way, and he really won't last compared to leona in any way -- not as a first timer, not being so reactive and excited. ]

[ he's not thinking with his small brain right now, though it's certainly taking a forward position very soon. after all--- he craves release and doing it with kaname... it's a very intimate thing, isn't it? every sense is being entertained all at once; from the sound of slick skin rubbing against each other to the taste of kaname's saliva and the trace amounts of blood in it... to the feeling, to the familiar and heady aroma of sex, and the sight of kaname below him... he's practically on fire.

perhaps, as this cat continues to paw and scratch and fight, leona will be there to enable it. to make him learn a different kind of selfishness. the kind that can save him. the kind that will let him follow a different path that doesn't end in pain and agony for those who love him. for those who know him. it never hurts to learn how to love oneself. in his world, of eat or be eaten, being able to do that... it can save you. not just from predators, but from yourself.

maybe... he can do that. somehow.

for now though? he's more than content to just... see where they can go together. enjoy the thrill of an approaching climax, tension reaching a point of no return. inevitability surging through his veins, displacing blood, leaving him slightly lightheaded. his breath catching in his throat, the feeling of a bead of sweat sliding down his brow... this is not some low effort. he's not phoning it in. ]

Y-Yodaka...

[ his voice is hoarse with restraint but there's no stopping it now. another pump with his hand, and then he squeezes firmly before pulling up and back and he comes. a mess, hot and sticky, spurting on the other's stomach, dripping and flowing down. his desperate jerking is aided, rewarded by his leavings. ]

[ the name seals something in his mind, vaguely aware of it as he is: "yodaka" is allowed this. "kaname" is not.

but it's only a momentary thought as his own carries through and the sound remains muffled against teeth and skin, but the difference in the two of them is once the heat dies down (splattered against his stomach, revolting but rewarding) kaname loosens his grip on leona and turns his head away with short pants as he tries to swim through the haze of his still-clouded mind, hands dragging nails lazily against his skin as just something to do with them.

he never could keep his hands still, after all. the biggest tell of any excess energy, of nerves and excitement. ]

... So this is... other stuff, [ he mumbles, distantly aware that he isn't thinking it to himself. ] Fun.

[ fun. dangerous, considering how he's craving it again, that man was right that you shouldn't do it willy-nilly -- but he isn't going to have the pleasure of being right, kaname isn't saying a word of it to him ever, he's going to content himself to turning a startlingly fond gaze back to leona and kissing his lightly. hello. enjoy the brief openness while you can, he's trying to nab a little affection. ]

Very fun.

[ it's the equivalent of slipping into a sauna after a long run, his entire body finally calming down. he doesn't immediately clean off the evidence of their fun. not yet, even though it'll certainly cool and be less acceptable to leave there. it's okay. he won't let kaname wear it for too long...

the kiss feels just as good, if not better, than the ones from before. as he looks at kaname's chest, he sees that ring of teeth marks still appearing bright and red but less angry. it's still a pleasant reminder of what they've done. what they can continue to do. ]

There's more, but... [ he returns the kiss. ] ... 'm sure you can figure it out. Just didn't wanna overwhelm ya.

[ you're too kind for him, is what he thinks. why would anyone want to love a future not-king. ]

[ this was the non-overwhelming option... kaname scowls a little at himself and scoots back, slowly, to sit up and look himself over. mm. mmmmm.

I thought you'd put more on me.

[ not that he's disappointed, necessarily, and he pushes his hair behind his ear habitually; as always, the shorter strands fall back to where they were, and he hums in disapproval at the mess before kissing leona again, hand coming up to trace his cheek, his neck, his shoulder. ]

You should. [ is what he decides. ] I like how it felt.

[ that leona wanted to, so casually agreed, on a worthless idol who was little more than a mask to everyone he spoke to. ]
