I wasn't uncomfortable or anything like that. Then again, I don't generally feel uncomfortable around Hiiro in the first place -- quite the opposite.

[ for a lot of different reasons, the prime one being that the less thought put into something the more genuine and honest it feels, to him. it's why he likes hiiro. tatsumi. ala. leona too, though he doubts it's all thoughtless -- hunters don't get by with no plans at all, in his opinion. ]

It used to baffle me though. I didn't understand how someone couldn't have a second motive.

even more so when it comes to kaname. there's teasing and then there's something much meaner.

[ oh-- oh he's never against that, or being praised, even if he has to bat away the kneejerk thoughts of "there's nothing to admire" and doubts of sincerity. leona has shown time and time again that he doesn't have second motives, that he means his words very much, and kaname hums, pleased, as he closes his eyes. chin tilting so leona can have more skin to work with, this is one of his faaaaaaaavorites for a reason. ]
